Designed around a single uninterrupted panel of 10 mm toughened safety glass, these premium internal doors have an exceptionally narrow powder-coated aluminium profile. The minimal frame maximises the glass area, creating a refined and understated appearance that works beautifully in contemporary homes, offices and architecturally designed interiors.
Choose low-iron clear glass for outstanding clarity and natural light, or frosted glass where greater visual privacy is wanted without making the room feel enclosed.
Each door is supplied pre-hung in its matching aluminium frame, with colour-matched hinges and a modern lever-handle set already fitted. This makes installation considerably simpler while maintaining the precise alignment and clean finish expected from a premium glass door.

Designed for clean, uninterrupted interiors

The narrow aluminium profile gives these doors a lighter and more sophisticated appearance than a conventional aluminium or steel-framed glass door.
They are particularly well suited to home offices, studies, pantries, hallways, living spaces, ensuites and other interior rooms where you want separation without losing light or visual space.
For the cleanest architectural result, the door frame can be installed into a precisely prepared, square-stopped opening. It can also be installed into a conventional rough opening, although additional trim or architraves will then be required around the frame.

Glass options

Low-iron clear glass

Unlike ordinary clear glass, low-iron glass has significantly less of the green colouring normally visible through the glass and around its edges. This provides greater clarity and a cleaner, more neutral appearance—particularly noticeable across a full-height glass door.

Frosted glass

Frosted glass allows light to pass between rooms while softening the view through the door. It is an excellent option for bathrooms, ensuites, bedrooms, offices and other spaces where increased privacy is preferred.
Both options use 10 mm toughened safety glass certified to AS/NZS 2208.

Pre-hung and ready to install

Each Architectural Slimline Glass Door is supplied as an assembled, pre-hung door system that includes:

• Powder-coated aluminium door leaf
• Matching slimline aluminium outer frame
• 10 mm toughened safety glass
• Colour-matched 180-degree hinges
• Matching lever-handle passage set or hidden privacy lock as up paid up grade

The specially selected small hinges allow the door to open up to approximately 180 degrees depening on your placement on the door jamb and your skirting size, and handle size.

Installation can be completed by a competent DIY customer or tradesperson. The opening must be square, level and suitable for securely fixing the assembled frame.

Always use the overall frame dimensions when planning the opening. Allow suitable installation clearance around the frame and confirm the finished opening before construction or installation.

Five-year warranty

Architectural Slimline Glass Doors are covered by a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to correct installation, normal interior use and appropriate care.
This warranty is additional to any rights available under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
